ANOTHER QUICKLY EMERGING CRAZE ON THE summer ‘24 scene is the beloved spiral shell trend. Its as if each summer the fashion world selects a particular element and it pops hot on the market across all branches of fashion, influencers, garment retail and accessories all at once. This year these little spirally shell accents are in fact, the moment.

We’re about to see them heavily influencing the accessory market, within small jewelry brands and even as luxurious accents in fashion brand styling.

In the small business fashion & retail world, it is important to stay relevant within our visuals and trends. Incorporating small accents like these can really elevate a simple look, a basic garment, and sublty send the message to your consumers that you are relevant and ahead of trend.

I see this trend working extremely as well for trend based jewelry brands, boutiques, and coastal brands. Evening wear and swimwear brands would be accented beautifully by using these spiral accents as statement piece accessories.

Although not as bold, I think we will continue see this trend mature onto fabrics themselves as spiral prints merge into a modern take on the 90’s graphic tee spirals.
