BOONIE HAT

|| WE HAVE A FRESH FASHION STYLING TREND for you for the 2024 season. We are absolutely obsessing over the use of boonie hats - or bush hats - in the some of the larger brand campaigns for summer 2024.

A good indicator that we will see trends in in our boutiques and more commercial stores is when independent, higher end brands begin to ‘pop’ them into their campaigns all at once. This is the case for the boonie hat trend as I found it noteable to include in this weeks trend blog.

Even if your brand or boutique doesn’t necessarily sell this type of product, consider utilizing the a version of this bush hat in your accessory arsenal. Many times the

use of an unexpected accessory is all we need to liven up our e-commerce shoots, or seasonal campaign shoots.

When looking for this type of accessory, keep an eye out for wide brim bucket styles with the long side straps. The most modern version of this would be to incorporate the boonie hats with straps that hang to the sides vs. styles that tie under the chin.

As always with trends, especially styling trends, are all up for interpretation. Style your models in a way that you enjoy, and you will most definitely be happier with your styling work.
